"Feelings you cannot describe. Love that has come true.
Certainty, to hold the most valuable on earth in your arms."
"It was an absolute delight to have Jess photograph us. My husband is not a picture taking person, but he felt so comfortable with Jess. We were laughing and had so much fun during the entire maternity photoshoot."
"Jeff and I really want to cherish our pregnancy and Jess made it possible! We told her what we wanted and she envision it right away!"
"Wonderful work! We love the photos, exactly what we wanted! Would book her anytime again, highly recommended!"
I will spend about one to 1.5 hours at your home, and I document the home environment, the feeding, the cuddling, the changing, the crying, and everything else that matters to you.
How long do your newborn photo sessions last?
The sooner the better, as I only do a handful of newborn sessions a month. These sessions are usually done at around 2 to 4 weeks after birth, as it's important for me that Mom has time to recover.
When should I book a newborn session?
My lifestyle newborn sessions are done in the comfort of your home. Once there, I will look for the areas with the most amount of natural light. Keep your wardrobe neutral and comfortable, and baby in a white onesie.
What do I need for my newborn session?
Yes. My style of newborn photography is very intimate and focuses on the connection between parent/siblings and baby. All immediate family members welcomed!
I would like to include my older kids in my newborn photoshoot. Is this possible?
Newborn FAQ's
My maternity sessions last one hour, sometimes a little more.
How long do your maternity photography sessions last?
I want you to feel free to choose the wardrobe that suits you, but just keep in mind that light neutral colors will photograph beautifully and will allow your baby bump to show off because it is not distracting. Darker colors tend to hide the bump and can be harder to see.
What should I wear for my maternity photoshoot?
Most of my maternity sessions are done in trails, fields, and beaches. Depending on the kind of background you want your photos to have, I can recommend a few of my favorite locations.
What kind of background do you use during your maternity photo sessions?
The best time for a maternity session is between 28-35 weeks, unless you're carrying multiples. In that case, it is between 25-29 weeks.
When is the best time for a maternity photo session?
I do light skin retouching and smoothening, keeping the natural glow. There's no body morphosis in Photoshop.
Do you do any skin retouching in my maternity photos?
These sessions are very laid-back and fun and usually start at about one hour before the sun begins to set. Once booked, I will help with wardrobe, colors, and location. And no need to worry on session day, as I'll be guiding you from beginning to end.
What can I expect from my maternity photography session?
