One day you will look through photographs and feel your heart swell with love and happiness. The magic of your motherhood story in those moments shared just between mother and child in this time that is so fleeting and ever-changing.

I first met Christina when I photographed her maternity portrait. When she told me that her baby was about to turn one, I knew we had to do a motherhood session. There’s a reason why these sessions have become one of my favorites to photograph. It was so much fun watching them play, and the result of documenting their connection was nothing short of magical. It really became a celebratory session in this beautiful trail park in Seal Beach. Mamas are always the ones behind the camera when they need to also exist in photographs. I’m so glad I was able to photograph Christina with her sweet, sweet Baby Lemon. I know that these photographs will become the memories she will treasure forever.
