A sunset Irvine Regional Park maternity session with the wonderful Geb family as they’re expecting their second little one.

This family made the drive down to meet me at Irvine Regional Park in Orange to one of my favorite little spots of the park. After chatting with Danayet, I knew this would be the perfect location for her session. We started just a few moments before the sun began to set. Therefore, we were able to catch the softest light possible. I knew this mama wanted soft and light images for her maternity portrait.

The expanse of Irvine Regional Park makes a great location for maternity sessions. This park offers fields, trails, and beautiful greenery all around. Depending on your chosen background, I already have my locations selected in this beautiful park. As you can see, the lighting never ceases to amaze me here. No matter the time of year, crowds are never an issue.

Danayet’s wardrobe style fit her personality perfectly, and it was such a breeze working with her. Her gown draped her beautifully, accentuating her baby bump. The flowy material of her dress allowed us to create some images with movement. And her orange sandals, matching the color of the flowers on her dress, were the finishing touches to complete this gorgeous ensemble.

It was so much fun to include the whole family in her maternity session. As a result, it made this even more special. And Ezi can’t wait to be a big brother to baby sister, who’s arriving in just a few weeks. I know they will be sharing these meaningful photographs with the little one for years to come.
